Andhracafe.com- Hyderabad, June 26 (IANS) A case of bigamy has been filed against Telugu actor Pawan Kalyan in a court in the port city of Visakhapatnam.

Kalyan's first wife Nandani Tuesday filed the case in the Additional Chief Metropolitan Court under Section 494 of the Hindu Marriage Act. Seeking action against the actor, his brother mega star Chiranjeevi and 12 other relatives, she claimed that the actor had married another woman without divorcing her.

She also sought the court's direction to the actor to pay Rs.500,000 to her every month towards her maintenance.

Nandani, a native of Visakhapatnam, said she had lodged a complaint with police but no action was taken.

She said that Kalyan had married her before he began his film career but later deserted her.
