Andhracafe.com- HYDERABAD :Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) international president Ashok Singhal warned that the governments, who would hurt the feelings of Hindus, would be deposed. Speaking to newsmen at Puttaparthi on Thursday, Mr Singhal said that the Rama Sethu was constructed to kill demon Ravana and added that the government should desist from its attempts to demolish the structure.
The VHP leader said that to claim Lord Rama was not God was like humiliating the sentiments of Hindus. He said that a protest would be staged in New Delhi with 15 lakh people in protest against attempts to demolish Rama Sethu. Mr Singhal said that a meeting would be organised in Ayodhya on November 13 and a date for organising the protest in New Delhi would be fixed there.
The VHP leader lamented that percentage of Hindus in the country was coming down in the country. He alleged that the Congress, which claims itself as secular party, was becoming a Muslims party. Mr Singhal alleged that all powers were given to Muslims. He alleged that the government had appointed nine atheists in the 10-member fact finding committee set up on Rama Sethu controversy.
