The fuel company has installed gas stoves provide the gas at a subsidised rate of Rs. 5 per hour, thereby ensuring the patients not to spend much on hotels. The patients can prepare their own meal at their convenience.
Nowby even individuals have began supporting the poor patients with donations of rice and vegetables for patients in need of help. The cancer centre provides treatment to nearly 9,000 new patients and more than 30,000 old cases every year.
