Andhracafe.com- Anantapur: Sri Sathya Sai Baba will soon conduct an aerial survey in the agency areas of east Godavari district to study the progress of the drinking water scheme being run by the trust.

Baba sought details about the working of the scheme from the district t collector Anil Kumar Singhal. The scheme christened Jaladhara is being run in Rampachodavaram and Gangaaram mandals in the district with an outlay of Rs. 30 crores.

     Water is being pumped by lift irrigation from Pamulaeru stream and drinking water supplied to 20 villages in the two mandals. The scheme would be extended to other areas after the Baba conducts the aerial survey and studies the functioning of the scheme.
