Politics and films are good bed fellows but then that has not been the case always, if the likes of NTR and MGR have proved that they are cut out for both, some of the film personalities have always found the political waters distasteful, there are cases of film stars who jumped in willing but have left the fray as they could not sustain the pressures here.

But now a new crop of actor-turned politicians are emerging who have found themselves in the sea of political cacophony because they have been compelled into that situation, one of the best example for this has always been Chiranjeevi who many say was compelled into politics due to cast and other compulsions, but Chiru is not a one of case, even Nagarjuna and Mahesh Babu have also been quoted as examples.

Many argue that such political entrants will eventually say good bye to politics and comeback to the filmy fold one day.
